
Who This Program Is For
This program is designed for LPN applicants who are required by the Florida Board of Nursing to complete remedial training.

Failed the NCLEX-PN exam three consecutive times.

Do not hold an active license and have not practiced within the last 5 years.

Passed the NCLEX-PN more than five years ago but were never issued a license.

Any applicant required by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) to complete a Board-approved remedial course.
If any of these apply, this program helps you meet Florida Board requirements and regain eligibility to reapply for licensure.

Duration
80 Hrs Theory + 96 Hrs Clinicals
Fully Compliant with the FBON Requirements for LPN Remediation program
Didactic
Virtual/Online
Online theoretical instruction covering pharmacology, patient safety, clinical reasoning, and the nursing process. Complete coursework from anywhere.
Clinical
In Person Clinical Training
Hands-on clinical experience in approved Florida healthcare facilities under supervision, as required by the Florida Board of Nursing.

This online platform works in coordination with our in-person clinical training to prepare students for NCLEX success.
Eligibility Criteria
There are three scenarios that require completion of an approved remedial course:
1. Failed NCLEX Three Times
Applicants who have failed the NCLEX three consecutive times are required to complete a remedial course and must obtain a letter from the Florida Board of Nursing before beginning the program. To request your letter, email: MQA.NursingAppStatus@flhealth.gov
2. Inactive License for Over Five Years
Applicants who do not hold an active license and have not practiced in the past five years must complete an approved remedial program.
3. Passed NCLEX Over Five Years Ago Without Licensure
Applicants who passed the NCLEX more than five years ago but were never licensed are required to complete an approved remedial course in accordance with Florida Administrative Code (Rule 64B9-3.014)
Important Notice:
Upon completion of the remedial course, the Board will only accept an electronically submitted verification letter issued on the provider’s official letterhead and bearing the program director’s original signature.
